 THE STORY SO FAR

Apparently, This Was Always the Plan

AGE 4 — THE DECLARATION

I knew I wanted to be a speaker when I was four years old. With Barney and Baby Bop in tow, I would run around the house yelling that I was going to be a CEO and motivational speaker. Very normal four-year-old behavior.

AGE 9 — FIRST BUSINESS

I started my first business at nine and made 600 buckaroonis selling stuff at a sidewalk sale I coordinated all by myself. I even had a cash register. Four-year-old me clearly had a business plan.

AGE 14 — FIRST PUBLIC SPEECH

I gave my first public speech when I ran for class president in 9th grade.

COLLEGE — BECAME THE “MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER FRIEND”

My friends started asking me to speak at their after-school clubs, and things picked up speed from there. Before I even graduated, I was speaking at conferences all over the state. This was the real start of my speaking career—although technically, I got my start lining up my stuffed animals and motivating them, OBVS.

AGE 22 — CEO, FOR REAL THIS TIME

I graduated college and went straight into entrepreneurship, building businesses of my own. Apparently, four-year-old me was very serious about this whole CEO thing.

AGE 27 — HELLO, TEDx

In 2021, I gave my first TEDx talk. A pretty surreal full-circle moment for the little girl who used to line up her stuffed animals and give them motivational speeches.

AGE 29 — PLOT TWIST: I BECAME A DJ

In 2023, I decided to learn how to DJ. Because apparently being a CEO and professional speaker wasn’t enough hobbies for one lifetime. Enter: DJ MADE4MAGIC

AGE 30 — THE DJING SPEAKER IS BORN

In 2024, I had the bonkers idea to combine the two things I loved most: speaking and music. What started as an experiment became an entirely new way for me to share ideas, inspire others, and create experiences. Apparently, all these seemingly random pieces of my life had been conspiring this whole time.

PRESENT DAY – BUSINESS PARTYIN’

Somewhere along the way, the CEO, motivational speaker, entrepreneur, DJ, crafter, experience-maker, and magic-potion-making four-year-old all collided. The Business Party™ is what came out the other side. And somehow, it feels like I've been building toward it my entire life.

 WHAT MATTERS MOST

Underneath the Sparkles

There’s a lot of depth underneath all this sparkle. These are the things that have shaped who I am, what I believe, and how I choose to move through the world.

My faith is everything.

Choosing God and following Christ changed who I am and what I live for. My faith doesn’t sit in one corner of who I am, it’s woven into the fabric of how I operate in the world. Everything I do is rooted in sharing God’s light, going where He wants to take me, and furthering His Kingdom. I mean, hello God is our DJ. Life is our dance floor. I’m just following His set list.

Losing my dad changed me.

One phone call rearranged my entire existence and divided my life into before and after. Somehow, the greatest loss of my life was the very thing that brought me closer to God, stripped away so much of what I thought mattered, and made what truly matters so clear. It gave me a profound reverence for how precious it is to be alive and a determination to really live with the time I have left. Daddy’s girl forever. Miss you Dad.

I believe ferociously in new possibility and people’s potential.

I believe in people so deeply it almost hurts. There is infinitely more inside of us—and available to us—than we can see from where we’re standing. More creativity. More courage. More ideas. More ways forward. I refuse to accept that what exists today is all there gets to be. There is always another possibility waiting to be realized, and my inner glow stick of truth lights all the way up when I can help someone see the magic of what could be.

I care. A lot.

I care about the details, and I hold myself to a very high standard. No matter what I’m doing or creating, even if it’s something we’ve all decided “doesn’t really matter,” I want you to feel that it mattered to me. That I cared. That I thought about it. About you. I believe how we do things matters just as much as what we do. Thoughtfulness turns ordinary things into meaningful ones. My best friend calls me the MGC: Meaningful Gift Consultant.

I want everyone to remember they sparkle too.

Sparkle isn’t merely cute or aesthetic. It’s the very essence of who you are. God put something magnificent inside ALL of us. Everything I do is to help people remember that they have the sparkle, too—the wild, the weird, the fun, the wacky, the absolute awesomeness that makes you you that no one else on this planet could ever replicate. We’re all better off when you choose to share all of who you are with us. Go forth and sparkle, you little disco ball!
